What is Needed to Connect

Connecting to the CARBBN Mesh network is not hard but it will require a few things. Those are the following:

  • Ubquiti Radio
  • Antenna to hook to the radio
  • Programming the Radio with AREDN software

Below is a list of radios:

  • Bullet M2 (requires external antenna)
    • TP-Link 15 db Omni
    • TP-Link Grid Dish
    • TP-Link 8dbi Omni
  • Nano Station M2
  • Nano Station LOCO M2
  • Rocket M2 (requires external antennas)

Please note that all links in the network can span some distance and most links require line of sight (LOS).

Get Connected

Below you find the settings for connecting to the CARBBN mesh network.

Ubiquity Devices:
SSID: CARBBN
Channel: -2
Channel Bandwith: 5 MHZ

LinkSys Devices (Any device that cannot go to channel -1 or -2):
SSID: CARBBN
Channel: 1
Channel Bandwidth: 20 MHZ
